My First Post!!

I'm so excited! My very first post! And now to figure out what to say here. Okay...let's see. I've already filled in the Meet Me "About" portion but I'll sum up. My name's Elizabeth Lenz (see, E-Z?) and I'm a virtual schooling, stay at home mother of 3. I'm hoping to talk about cheap and free things to do around the greater Kansas City metro area (if you live here, you'll understand why the long title for the KC area). This blog is fully intended to be a family affair. We're starting it as something to do as a family sort of as a hobby and to give me an outlet outside of my kiddos.

My husband, Drew, is a landscaper who will be doing one post a week (via me, he's not much into the actual typing) about landscaping. Ask questions! He's happy to answer them. If there are no questions then he'll fill in other useful info in his "Landscaping for the Weekend Warrior" on Thursdays.

My oldest, Alice is 9. And she and I will be trying out those oh-so-easy looking recipes you see on Facebook and some of the life hacks that are everywhere. My oldest son, Corbin, who is 5 plans to help me with some kids crafts and reviews. The youngest, Aleksander, who is only 1 will probably be helping me with child-friendliness in areas in KC and with movies and other fun stuff.

Mostly, I'm planning to talk about our lives in KC, how virtual school is working out for us, and what works and doesn't work to make life more, well, E-Z.
