I'm Elizabeth Lenz and I'm trying to make life a little easier. For all of us.
Ever wonder if those hacks you see on social media work? Ever want to know where to take your kids in the Kansas City metro area? Especially places that are inexpensive or free? Want to know which online "so easy" recipes work? Have questions about virtual school or landscaping? That's what this blog is all about.
I'm Elizabeth Lenz (E-Z) and the whole point of this blog is to try and make things easier for all of us. I'll be rounding up inexpensive or free ideas for parents and kids around the KC area. I'll also be giving some of those hacks we see everywhere a try and show you how they turn out (I promise to follow directions exactly.) I'll also post some book and movie reviews.
My husband, Drew is a professional landscaper and he'll be taking questions and offering helpful tips and reminders, mostly on Thursdays, in his Landscaping for the Weekend Warrior posts. My 9 year old daughter, Alice, will be taking on some of those "hacks." My 5 year old son, Corbin, and 1 year old son, Aleksander, will help with the child-friendly questions. We'll also do some kid crafts and let you know how kid friendly they are.
Our family virtual schools! Through Kansas Connections Academy. And we love it! I'll be blogging on some of those adventures. I'm also happy to answer questions. We've been with KCA since Alice started Kindergarten and we've had a great experience.
